METEOROLOGY THE FORMATION OF THE WIND

The formation of the wind is a phenomenon resulting from the action of three forces:
- Pressure Forces
- Corialis' Force
- Forces linked to friction

The first pressure force is responsible for major air movement under sun's action, the second Coriolis force linked to the Earth's rotation gives the major wind directions and the third, the friction force is more responsible of the local wind because it depends mainly to relief.
